Walmart hiring center opens in Brooklyn Center
Walmart is hiring approximately 300 associates to work at the new store slated to open late this summer in Brooklyn Center. To facilitate applications, the retailer has opened a temporary hiring center at 1200 Shingle Creek Crossing in Brooklyn Center. Shingle Creek Crossing is the new development where Walmart will open, located at Highway 100 and Bass Lake Road.
The hiring center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Store manager Dave Heber said full- and part-time positions are available.
“We are excited to add this Walmart to Brooklyn Center and bring good jobs with career opportunities to the area,” Heber said.
The majority of new associates will begin work in August to help prepare the store for its grand opening later this summer.
