Family yard games fun for the whole family
Robbinsdale Recreation Services is offering a night of family yard games 5:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 9, at Manor Park, 3129 Abbott Ave. N., Robbinsdale.
Teams will consist of one adult and one-child ages 6-12. Together, they will play games including bocce ball, bags, horseshoes, ladder golf and croquet.
Points will be awarded in each round played, and at the end, prizes will be awarded based on final point totals.
If there is bad weather, the event will meet at the Robbinsdale Community Gyms at the Robbinsdale Middle School, 3730 Toledo Ave. N. Enter at door 18 on the Regent Avenue side of the building.
The fee is $8 per parent/child team.
