Learn the how-tos of being a renter
The Community Action Partnership of Suburban Hennepin County is offering a workshop for tenants of rental housing 9 a.m. to 3p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Community Corner Family Resource Center, 1500 69th Ave. N. in Brooklyn Center.
The workshop includes information about how to communicate with a landlord, file a complaint, laws that apply to renters and responsibilities of landlords and tenants.
It is free and childcare and lunch will be provided. Call 763-561-2481 to register for the workshop.
