Investigators suspect a fire at Huntington Place Apartments in Brooklyn Park was intentionally set with a bottle thrown through a window Nov. 6.
Around noon, firefighters responded to a report of a “fire out” on the 5800 block of 73rd Avenue. When they arrived, crews found in the kitchen the remnants of a bottle that appeared to have been thrown through a glass window. A small area of the kitchen burned.
The scene was photographed, and remnants were sent to the crime lab of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for analysis. Brooklyn Park Police are investigating.
