Fall fashion was the focus at Brookdale Library during a class for youths offered through the Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and the Minnetonka Center for the Arts.
Genevieve Chamberland, Outreach Coordinator for the Minnetonka Center for the Arts, brought ideas to the class on how to sew T-shirts into scarves or bags and encouraged the students to be creative with fabric or clothes they don’t need. She also taught basic sewing, appliqué and surface design techniques.
