Hurrican Sandy relief pancake breakfast, 7-10 a.m. at Broadway Pizza, 11186 Commerce Drive N., Champlin. The Champlin Park High School Leo Club (affiliated with the Lions) is raising money to help support storm relief. Tickets costs $6 and include pancakes, sausage, fruit and a beverage.

Brooklyn Park Lions all-you-can-eat Belgian waffle breakfast, 7:30 a.m. to noon at the Brooklyn Park Community Activity Center, 5600 85th Ave., Brooklyn Park. Adult tickets cost $7 in advance, $8 at the door. Children age 5 and under cost $3. Photos with Santa available for $3. Bake sale and Santa’s Secret Shop also available. Proceeds go to the family of the recently deceased Bruce Gurley, Lions Club leader.

Palmer Lake Children’s Theatre Christmas show, 3 p.m. at the Collings Fine Arts Theatre, 7441 Newton Ave. N., Brooklyn Park. The show is an original, interactive play called “The Elves Need Help.” Children can stay afterward to make a craft and visit with Santa.

Mobile Loaves and Fishes, a nonprofit organization based in Minneapolis, is delivering free meals at noon at the corner of 69th Street and Humboldt Avenue in Brooklyn Center. If you know of someone that could use a free meal to take home, please let him or her know about this event.
