10-year District 279 volunteer honored at barbecue
Community member Bud Blanchette received a chef coat at the Basswood Elementary barbeque honoring his more than 10 years of volunteer service at Basswood. Even though he no longer has school-age children, Bud continues to lead Basswood’s family game night, grill for the school barbecue and help with daytime programs.
