TwinWest Chamber of Commerce will host a discussion about transportation and transit in the metro region as part of the Legislative Breakfast series 7:30-9 a.m., Friday, Dec. 14 at DoubleTree Hotel, 1500 Park Place Boulevard in St. Louis Park.
TwinWest is actively engaged in supporting and advocating a number of transit investments in the area. Speakers will include Jay Coweles of the Itasca Project and Will Schroeer of the Minneapolis Regional Chamber and Saint Paul Area Chamber.
The presentations will be followed by a panel, which will talk about recent transit funding proposals. Panelists include State Sen. Terri Bonoff, Met Council Chair Susan Haigh and a Hennepin County Commissioner to be determined.
