Community Development Block Grants available in Brooklyn Park
Social service providers or nonprofits with a 501(c)3 status can apply for 2013 Community Development Block Grant funds in Brooklyn Park. The money is part of a federal Housing and Urban Development program that can be used for a variety of activities benefiting low- to moderate- income households in Brooklyn Park. Last year Brooklyn Park’s City Council granted more than $60,000 in grants to area groups.
Groups interested in applying for a grant, must send a representative to a pre-application meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at City Hall, 5200 85th Ave. N.
