Celebrate the longest night of the year with warmth, light and cheer from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at the Kroening Interpretive Center, 5114 North Mississippi Drive in North Mississippi Regional Park, Minneapolis. Holiday traditions from different cultures will be on display and participants can create a Yule log or prayer stick. Hiking and snowshoe activities are available as well as music, song and refreshments by the bonfire.
