TwinWest announces hiring of new president

TwinWest Chamber of Commerce has selected Brad Meier to serve as its next president. The chamber has been searching for a replacement for Bruce Nustad who left the position in September of last year.

Meier has 12 years of chamber leadership experience, having served as President and CEO of the Owatonna Chamber of Commerce and Tourism and Executive Director of the River Fall, Wis. Chamber of Commerce.

According to a TwinWest spokesman, Meier’s experience in the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Executives ranks “gives TwinWest the ability to tap into the collective wisdom of business organizations across the state and the Upper Midwest to provide top value to members. Brad’s addition completes TwinWest’s staff team of outstanding policy, programming and growth professionals that are setting the standard and leading the way.”

“I’m excited to join the TwinWest Chamber,” Meier said. “This organization has a strong track record and reputation of working on important issues for the business community. We plan to work closely with our current members and make a concerted effort to bring new businesses into the membership so that we can meet the ambitious goals set forth by the Board of Directors.”

The TwinWest Chamber of Commerce serves members from Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, Crystal, New Hope, Golden Valley, St. Louis Park, Hopkins, Minnetonka, Medicine Lake and Plymouth.
