Bone Builders class to meet in New Hope

Volunteers of America-Minnesota’s RSVP volunteer program recently launched a Bone Builders class in New Hope to connect adults 55 and older with physical and social benefits.
Bone Builders uses a combination of weight-bearing exercises, balance and strength training to increase muscle and bone density to reduce the risk of falls associated with osteoporosis.
Classes meet 1-2 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at North Park Plaza, 8201 45th Ave. N, New Hope, and will be taught by a volunteer leader. All older adults are welcome to attend but must sign a health information form and get permission from their doctor.
The class can serve a wide range of ages and abilities. Call 952-945-4163 to register for this free class.
