Vision loss class offered at Crossings

Vision Loss Resources is hosting Living with Vision Loss: Adaptive skills Classes for Seniors beginning 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, in the community room at Crossings at Brookwood, 6201 Lilac Drive North, Brooklyn Center. The class will continue for three weeks and is free and open to the public.
The class includes information to help people affected by vision loss to increase their independence through learning safe and efficient techniques for daily living. Examples include labeling clothing and utensils for easier identification and ideas for laundry and hobbies such as cooking or sewing.
Vision Loss Resources offers support services such as in-home assessments and support groups.
