BCFD offers free smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
By Katy Zillmer
The Brooklyn Center Fire Department is partnering with the Firefighters Relief Association and H.O.M.E. to provide a free smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm to each household with a resident 60 years of age and older, and one smoke alarm to each household with residents under 60 years of age.
A firefighter will visit homes and determine residents’ alarm needs as part of the program. Visit cityofbrooklyncenter.org and click the link under current news, “Apply online for free smoke and carbon monoxide program.”
