Carnival games are 25 to 50 cents to play and there is face painting, a silent auction and food for sale including pizza and popcorn. Restaurant gift cards and handmade items are available to bid on during the silent auction.

Third-annual Empty Bowls event, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Robbinsdale Middle School, 3730 Toledo Ave. N., Robbinsdale. Adults and children five years or older are invited to make and glaze clay bowls, which will be donated to 2013 Empty Bowls.

Valentine BINGO, 3-5 p.m. at Zanewood Recreation Center, 7100 Zane Ave. N., Brooklyn Park. First six games are free. Extra games cost $1. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
