West Metro Fire-Rescue District lost equipment, offering reward for its return

On Sunday, Nov. 13, an automated CPR machine known as a LUCAS device was lost from a West Metro fire rescue truck, according to officials from the department.

The truck was traveling in Crystal from 35th and Lee Avenue to 53rd and Hampshire Avenue North when the device was believed to be lost from the truck.

The device was contained in a lime green and black backpack.

The district is offering a $500 reward if the device is returned.

If the item is found, the person in possession of the device is asked to contact Chief Sarah Larson at 763-230-7001.
