Pianos on Parade is a program run by the nonprofit organization Keys 4/4 Kids, and places refurbished, custom-painted pianos in city spaces as a way to build community and bring hidden musical talents into the spotlight. Cities can opt to choose their own custom paint job or leave it in the hands of local students who volunteer to paint the instruments. Robbinsdale opted to let the piano to bear the official Birdtown logo and colors.
