The City of New Hope, North Memorial Health System, Hy-Vee, the New Hope YMCA and West Metro Fire-Rescue District will offer the Healthy Living Fair 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, June 24, at West Metro Fire’s headquarters, 4251 Xylon Ave. N., New Hope.
North Memorial will provide screenings such as body mass index, glucose, vein and Peripheral Arterial Disease and advance care planning.
Hy-Vee’s Wellness Bus will be on site with dieticians to answer nutrition questions. They will also provide brochures on healthy eating for diabetes, heart health, low sodium, Omega 3, low cholesterol and blood pressure.
The YMCA will perform live demonstrations.
West Metro Fire-Rescue District will provide home safety information and New Hope Police Department will offer crime prevention information.
Fairview Pediatric Therapy Clinic in New Hope will provide information about pediatric therapy services and answer questions.
Additional participants include Comfort Dental, Oakdale ENT, Starbucks, Robin Wellness Center, St. Therese of New Hope and Northridge Health and Rehab.
Other highlights include snacks, chair massages, prize drawings and giveaways.
The event is free and open to the public.
